Moodring Records is an underfunded, independent record label from Missouri, USA. It’s owned and operated by recording engineers/musicians Eric Schuchmann and Matthew Darkly.

The label began while Eric and Matt were in The Rugs and getting ready to put out their second album Vacuum. We realized that pressing CD’s was fun but unless we were going to give them away most people didn’t want to buy them in this day of digital downloads. As a result we decided to start a website to post our music and let anyone listen or buy a digital copy through iTunes and other digital distributors.
